Project snapshot
Gamber Family Dental is a family dentistry practice serving patients in Beavercreek and Kettering, two cities in the Dayton, Ohio metro area. With two locations to grow, the practice needed each city to carry its own search visibility rather than sharing one generic service area.
01The challenge
Dental search around Dayton is crowded. Hospital systems, national chains, and other local practices compete for the same family dentistry, implant, and cosmetic searches in both cities, and patients rarely look past the first page or two of results. Gamber Family Dental already had dedicated pages for Beavercreek and Kettering, but neither was reaching the positions where patients actually click.
02The approach
The strategy treated Beavercreek and Kettering as two separate local markets instead of one shared service area. Content on both city pages was rebuilt around the specific questions and searches patients in each market run, and service pages for implants, same-day crowns, cosmetic treatments, and orthodontics were tied back to those city pages so ranking authority flowed to where it needed to land.
Local SEO work strengthened the Google Business Profile and the citations and directory signals feeding it for both locations. On-page and technical work cleaned up headings, metadata, and internal linking. Off-page work built the domain authority needed to compete with hospital systems and national chains, and paid search ran alongside the organic program to keep the practice visible while rankings climbed.

04Final result
The keyword footprint has grown well past the practice's own name. Of the 114 keywords now on page one, most are searches for a dentist, an implant, or a specific treatment, and 39 of those keywords rank in the top 3. Average position across the full keyword set moved from the mid-30s down into the low-20s, an improvement of 34 percent.
